Enhanced Ballistics - "Unstable explosives are the best, because the enemy don't know what to expect!" - Gaskus, fleet commander. While Tal-Nagarian explosives are still a galactic myth, their damage is very real indeed, Tal-Nagarian bombers are feared, sector wide, and ships carrying cluster shells are described as more than deadly. Hard-Lined Comms - Nagarians are suspicious of networking technology ever since they themselves became adept at hacking. During the purges whole Nagarian ships were hacked offline and turned into sitting ducks. Hard-Lined Comms welcomes opponents to waste their time developing viruses whilst the Nagarians fire back with physical explosives. Elite Crewmen - "I rate my Nagari with two factors, the thicker the skull the better, and how many battles he's been in." - Gaskus, fleet commander. The Nagari's galactic presense as pirates and raiders have seen them in more than over 500 engagements with local colonists in the last 3 years, things that are small don't tend to get away from the Nagarians. Leading Logistics - To underestimate a Nagarian's supplies would be foolish, no Nagarian operation is ever backed up without a lot of ammunition, food and medical supplies. Part of the reason why Nagari ships explode so violently, when they do explode, is due to all the surplus ammo and traps located aboard their ships. Planetary assaults are easily supported by the likes of a squadron of corvettes, nothing more is required.
Homeworld:
E2; In the desolate edges of the Varastal Wastes System; there lies Nargosa, third planet from its star. Nargosa is a grey fogged planet painted almost completely with buildings, blocks and industrial complexes miles high. With a humid, misty climate, there is little in the mains for forestation because of over population and planetary expansion. This has caused oxygen to be scarce and many native species to die or leave Nargosa. The planet is just over 4 times bigger than earth. It is always growing with new buildings, towers and structures to house the native population, construction of mineral mining equipment and weaponry.
Species and Anatomy:
Species: On the planet's surface and underground is the most dominant of all the species that still live on Nargosa. The Nagarians are a brutish species of humanoid-like beings that claim themselves being the strongest living race in their own history. They stand at an average height of 7 to 8 foot tall for males and six to seven feet for females. They are muscular, broad shouldered, with sharp teeth and typically hold an aggressive and antagonistic nature towards their purpose in life.
Their white/grey/blue skin is caused from the lack of vitamin nutrition and oxygen intake. However this is seen as evolution rather than a hindrance to their physical being as the Nagarians have evolved to survive without very little nutrition and gas exchange. With very little vegetation they rely on mass farming of cloned cattle, cloning flora and other fauna besides cattle for synthetic puposes and the creation of artificial vitamins and toxins.
The Nagarians instinct is to always strive, to be the biggest. To be the best. Their species nature is competitive, especially the male side. Towards other races, they either snide, arrogant and even hostile. They do believe in cooperation however this comes as a fearful respect to either a worthy opponent or clear opportunity to gain from the cooperation. Nagarians at points lack restraint and subtlety however this can be mistaken for lack of intelligence. As a race they all learn to strive as a individual and therefore all contribute into a complex dynamic nation built on the values of survival, instinct and self-advancement.
Politics:
Politics: The present government rules most of the planet after generations of clan wars and genocide. Tal, had raised armies to coup against different governments with brute force and merciless killing. Tal rules by the official name of The Tal Nagarians State, the capital being industrial power house, Domosa. Tal governs all with very few advisors or sub powers. His dictatorship is predominantly supported and stable as most of the oppressors are eliminated or in fearful enclaves in the outskirts of society. Behind Tal, there is the voice of reason, Strifus, whom had been at Tal's side since his first uprising in Halnagus. The majority, one party system ensures Tal's tyrannical grip over the planet. He ensures the country is defended and constantly has a new enemy to feed the nations thirst for war and victories.
History:
Before Tal came to power and even before the Nagarians race had became powerful there where many species on Nargosa. The only living species that have survived the Nagarian purges have been the Dascans. They are small and physical week species only 4 ft high that have a great mind for construction. Over years they have been used for slave labour to Nagarians and work jobs which smaller hands are best fitted.
Tal overthrew his father in a "peaceful uprising" (The Uprising was known as "The 9th Time", after the estimated 9 billion in deaths.) by forcing him to step down as ruler of the capital, Domosa. After being renowned as being a leader to be feared; many cities attempted to resist but were exterminated brutally by death squads. In Tal's Purges, the population went from 27 billion to 18 billion in matter of months. There are still tiny resistance groups that wish to be recognized as separate cultures that attempt to perform terrorist attacks and assassination attempts on state officials. Over 40 clans existed before the purges but these societies were more or less removed from history and wiped of the face of the planet. Leaving only one single clan in recognised power, reinforcing the statement that the Tal-Nagarians are united as a single people, officially.
Culture:
"Society of the Sword" used to be a term to describe the Nagarian culture. Military service used to be mandatory and the entire of the male populous was counted as a reservist that can be called on to fight. However with new military service declarations as of the last 20 years, non acting personnel can only be called on in times of war. In years gone by the Tal-Nagarians would have created a war culture from a mandatory recruitment from males that were already weary of inner-clan fighting in the events of the 40 clans, however now, due to the lack of a domestic enemy in the form of a concentrated force, it is seen as both leisurely and brave to fight the unknown in a Tal-Nagarian naval vessel.
"Sexual Classification" is a predominant factor in Nagarian Society. There are very specific places for male and female Nagarians in terms of gender roles. Male seen as the bread winner and female as the maternal emotional role in a family. Women are actively forbidden from armed forces, naval or political roles. Males are seen as the great listeners of Nagarian society, and are encouraged to have many political advisors and civilian liasons for their political and naval careers respectively. However many Nagarian commentators, both also Naval and Political believe this adds additional problems, ranging from corruption and collaboration to infidelity and illegitimate children.
Religion:
Religion is important to the everyday Nagarian. It is a monotheistic belief that God always expect more. That a Nagarian must be the best and do the best he can at anything he want to do. It does teach simple ethics such as no stealing, no murder and no lying. However these are seen from a clergyman's eyes only relevant to other Nagarians and not other species.
Nagari Traits:
Nagarians enjoy simple blunt comedy and laugh at aspects of pain and suffering of others. They enjoy competing physically and drinking intoxicating fluids. Drugs, in combat and civilian life is extremely dominant in Nagarian society; often a Nagarian will come home from his job and get wiped out on psychedelic drugs whilst watching day time TV. Clubbing is a huge phenominon in Nagarian society, whoever is "equiped to the maximum" describing how much drugs and how much weights a Nagarian body can take, results in clubs getting festered with hugely built males taking combinations of pills, whilst females openly dress provocatively in order to "bring home a kill".
Armed Forces:
Armed Forces of the Nagarian Navy are broken down using both the Nagarians and the Dascans Active Personel: 220,000 Reserve Personel: 1,200,000 The Nagarian Guard form the military of the Tal-Nagarians, tasked with defence of their society, its "overseas" territories and the Tal dependencies; as well as promoting the Nagarian wider interests, supporting civilian efforts, and providing aid to unruly colonies and wrecked settlements under Autocratic rule.

Strandirus Exosuit Power Armor Small Arms The Nagarian Navy use their weapons the same way most families have heirlooms, weapons are passed onto children, modified and remade, however that's not to say the Nagarians don't believe in standardisation, guns have to pass their POF (Precinct of Firearms Test) before being implemented into battle. This occured after a captain attempted to enter a battle with two flintlock pistols
The KR-224
The KR-224 Lightning Cannon is a destructive ground and spacecraft based energy weapon shooting arced bolts of concentrated energy, which super-heats and expands living cells rapidly, also super-heating them, its conductive qualities make it a brilliant workaround for hard targets in powered armour and exosuits, and its small, compact size means that the once age old "heavy weapons for heavy targets" no longer exists, tanks, troops and other light materiel such as light jeeps and low flying gunships can be ripped apart in minutes by this destructive force of electricity and microwaves.
The MAL-227 GAUKR
The MAL-227 GAUKR is a light to medium sized engagement rifle designed for used by ground soldiers of the Nagarians. It is the standardised weapon on the faction and uses a combination of magnetic propulsion and explosive ignition to fire its rounds.
Name: Gaskas Rank: Fleet Commander and Advisor Age: 46 Gender: Male Upbringing: Gaskas was a son of one of the key players in Tal's uprising and purges of the planet. His father was a trusted cousin to the Tal family name. However he was never accepted into the loop of politics or even considered a family member worth being taken care of as he was born a bastard. He was given basic birth rights and looked at as a burden and an outcast to the movement were his half brothers and sisters were striving and helping conquer many enemies. He had always wanted to do his family and more importantly he father proud by serving in combat. In the height of the purges, on Gaskas 20th birthday; he had joined the Nagarian navy as a fighter pilot. He had shown excellent skills in combat and movement through obstacles and evasive battle situations. Within weeks he was highly trained and decorated as a promising recruit, bearing in mind usually high up family members usually automatically take officer positions.
Gaskas was ready to show his family what he can contribute to the war and fulfil his ambitions of being recognized as a legitimate family member . Unfortunately Gaskas's father had forbid him from serving on his first day of deployment. His father remarked " You are already an embarrassment to my name in birth, you are not going to be one in death. " This had crushed Gaskas. He was robbed of his only chance to do his family proud.
Enraged, Gaskas murdered his father by strangling him at a family banquet and also his mother as she was the reason he was held back from his full family title. Hours after, Gaskas had led his closest platoon mates to steal a fighter fleet from the naval stations. Almost immediately Tal had placed Gaskas as the most wanted on the planet. Fleets of ships were dispatched to kill or capture Gaskas . Over the skies or Fogrum Manta, a rural plane north of Damosa ,The Nagarian naval task squadron were ambushed by the fighter platoon. The task fleet were completely destroyed and only 3 fighters downed. The 2 survivors of the downed platoon members found in the wilderness were tortured then executed publicly as an example to defectors. Tal had no time to deal with this problem personally as his campaign of domination of smaller resistance states was very time consuming. He had tasked Bargodrum, Tal's admiral at the time and trusted advisor to kill and destroy any trace of Gaskas.
Within one week Bargodrum had lost huge amounts of his naval assets after 13 skirmishes with Gaskas's acclaimed platoon of fighter pilots. Hundreds of men killed and huge amounts of money lost where the only thing Bargodrum had to show for eliminating 10 fighter craft. Gaskas had exhausted his remaining men and resources after a week of fighting and hiding across the planet using old landing stations and seeking assistance from enemy tribes and clans. After 7 days of being the most wanted Nagarian, he was captured by a special operations team in a small resistance town of Bally Tack. After only hours of imprisonment and torture he was sat before Tal and the heads of staff. Gaskas awaited his death sentence which no doubt would be a fate worse than a fate worse than death.
Tal had demanded why he started a mutiny. To which only Gaskas replied that he want to make the family and Tal proud of him and that he was robbed of his destiny. Tal then replied to him reassuringly that that is the only reason why he will be not only spared but decorated. Without hesitation Tal drew his pistol and shot Bargodrum Tal then announced that Bargodrum was executed for his failure to catch and kill Gaskas, and Gaskas would now fill his shoes as the admiral of the Nagarian Fleet. Gaskas gratefully accepted.
Since then, Gaskas has gained experience, unshakeable loyalty and expertise in commanding naval forces. His tenacity and risk taking nature prove him to be a formidable foe in combat.
