Manhanax System
INS Merekor - Production Capital Class Ship
Orbit above Manhanax I

Any advanced sensor in the area, which there were none, would detect a disruption of energy in the nearby area. The disruption would then spike with power, and the Nakar Navy would jump in.

"Bridge, report." Said Vanadax Mertatumus, a fairly middle aged Nakar fulfilling a captain role within his ship.

"Vanadaxiat, jump successful. All smaller research vessels also jumped, nobody is reporting jump-sickness." said a smaller role report-officer.

"Good. Alright, contact sensors, have the Nasartrisa Merwo monitor the planet for settlement options, it seems we may be in luck here. Prepare a squadron of Udspaxkradax for ground contact, immediately, and signal the fleet for immediate arrival, we're going to need to protect this little diamond in the rough."

"Copy that Vanadaxiat." The officer then disappeared down the ships hull, walking down its dully green lit metallic corridors, passing through security checks as he went.

Vanadaxiat Mertatumus gripped his ships broadcast radio and spoke to the rest of his fleet officers. Mertatumus was in a Nasartus vessel, accompanied by a Nasartuis-Class
and a Nasartras-Class medium vessels of the Nakar navy. As such the rest of the fleet was about to arrive to consolidate their efforts on this planet. However, this side of the fleet also spooled their FTL drives, awaiting any colonial warning signs, so they could immediately jump back to their respective home system, Kharkia, in the case of anything going wrong.

A marine detachment broke off from the ship and began heading down to the ground. The ship was more of a spinal carrier, carrying 40 huge, hulking mech suits for ground operations, at the back of the spinal carrier was a large, mobile drone factory.

The factory users talked to the drone users over the radio, however the Vanadaxiat was still in earshot.

<:: Copy that Zyro 2, concentration of essential minerals can be found here, prefab structure creation grounds identified.

<:: Colonial efforts received. Ping ship for food tanker transport.

This caused a light to blink rapidly in the Vanadaxiat's bridge, it was then switched off and a shipmate typed a long range tachyon message into his orb board.

<:: Zyro Mother, food ship is en route from home base. Ground targets to be set up.

As the spine ship breaks through the atmosphere, small critters on the lush planets surface scatter. The spine ship hovers down, ten feet or so off the ground, then drops the mech suits down, plainly. The fluidity of the suits suggests the Nakar's advanced technology level, suits are able to jog, run, jump and do complex motions at the whims of the user. The rolling factory, on its massive treads, began drilling into a grassy field. It then deployed many more smaller drill-bots to start creating the foundations for buildings and resource operations. Within thirty minutes, molten metal was being extracted from under the ground onto the factory floor for robotic prefab production. The drones made by the Kajob were adept builders, templating housing for both the Kajob and the Nakar in small, metallic sheet huts. Soon enough, if it wasn't interrupted, a small, colonial town might be created. On one of the 4 continents, separated by water.

Almost a month had passed since the creation of Havel, and prefabricated structures were moved back and forth between the colony and its planet-side surface. Havel was beginning to have most parts of a "starter town" that Nakar frontier-jumping colonists would know. Most of these colonists were non-permanent "settle veterans"; brought from all over Nakar space to quickly establish, share and create for the oncoming expanse under the empire.

The town was already conflicted with the rapidly growing coniferous forest around the town. The trees were rapidly expanding around the town daily, growing over many walls and providing a lucrative supply of lumber to the colonists, but hampering any other work, such as foundations. Due to the colony's image as a "fresh start" area; many trees were ripped from the ground and re-grassed with artificial grassland. This would stop any more tree growth in the area, but keep the idea of a green landscape where anything was possible clear in the minds of the Nakar settlers.

Havel was structured like most early settlements. A large metal tower that bended in the shape of a spine was in the centre. The "Jump Spine" was common to most towns, it created rapid calculations for ships on Nakar frequencies to allow ships to gate-jump between spines using huge downloads of tachyon transmissions. This allowed a huge amount of trade networking between Nakar worlds, and was a remnant of the once great Nakari Empire.

Among the base of the Jump Spine in Havel was a bustling town, biodomes, agrifarms and generators provided a mechanical accompaniment to the drone of Nakar voices going about their daily labours. The Jump Spine did large spacial scans of the upper atmosphere and above, constantly transmitting data to home systems and nearby civilian and military ships. The Jump Spine was an integral part of colonial, communication, geographical, military and administration on most Nakar colonies, as many as 1000 could exist on a fully evolved colony, from 1 small one on a planetary moon.

Spaxvanadaxiat Mertatumus coughed juicily twice, suggesting his throat was clogged, he then talked weakly. "Begin detection sweeps, if we find anything, kill it. I don't want Nakgari happening here, not while I'm still gunning for promotion. And not only that, if you see any Tal-Nagarians, refuse them access here."

"Yes Vanadaxiat." His assistant looked at the holographic data feeds and the Nakar fleet were so far in their own lines that any sort of intervention would do nothing but utterly aggravate them at this stage, especially on a civilian planet like this.

Spaxvanadaxiat Mertatumus scratched his left forearm and rubbed his throat, he was developing a nasty cough and his mornings were hard and his nights were becoming more and more sleepless thanks to his damn illness. He was regularly in sick bay, trying all sorts of anti-inflammatories and painkillers in order to be in top shape. He wasn't a hypochondriac, but he knew, having studied Fleet Tactics: A tact book on Naval Warfare that he was to be in his top condition for as long as it could be maintained. He was on orders to maintain what he could, where he could maintain it.

It had been nearly another month since activity was checked up on Manhanax by the Nakari high council, the situation at Nakgari had taken up nearly the attention of the whole empire for months and It was clear high command was ready to sacrifice many a chess piece in order to get one pawn to the end of the board, and it appeared the exact same thing was happening again on this planet. The agrifarms and biodomes had begun to self-sufficiently produce resources now that would break even once a few more shipments had been sent back, accompanied to this, civilian fleet miners had now positioned themselves above, and had began surveying the planet. The activity in this area wasn't without its monitoring however, due to the somewhat recent protocols; Manhanax I, the planet in colonization, was in the process of having "rapid orbital withdrawal" infrastructure put in place.
